The last MiniBootcamp of this spring
Yesterday we had the third and the last edition of the MiniBootcamp for this spring. This concept was tried this semester for the first time and proved to be a great success (altogether we had three MiniBootcamps this semester).
Just to remind our readers, MiniBootcamp is an event for business idea development, where participants have an opportunity to pitch their idea, receive a peer-to-peer feedback, have a discussion session and develop the idea further. The workshop suits for those, who don’t have an idea in mind yet, but willing to see, what is waiting for them in the future, when they will have one! The event does not entirely focus on the ideas of the participants, but also includes the part, where everyone brainstorms the common society problems and possible solutions, which could turn to profitable business.
The crowd of the yesterday’s MiniBootcamp had a very diverse crowd: it consisted of students from LUT and SaimaaUAS, an LUT lecturer and Lappeenranta residents. Overall we had two pitches: from Dmitry and Ville. Both guys are LUT students and have an idea for application; whereas in the case of Dmitry the application is already out and functioning, but is at the very initial stage. The crowd was excited to discuss their cases and help the guys with advice, thoughts and idea improvement suggestions.
Looking forward to see you at our MiniBootcamps next academic year!
